Fiestas Gotta Gun

Fiestas Gotta Gun, the 2005 gray stallion known as “Curly,” combines the best of cow and run. His sire, Playgun, has more than $10 million in progeny earnings, while his dam, NFR mare Firewater Fiesta, boasts lifetime earnings of $800,000 and has produced winners totaling over $782,000.

Curly himself has sired offspring earning in excess of $500,000, with progeny producing at all levels—from futurities and ProRodeos to high school rodeos and open events. Curly’s notable offspring include Minnie Gun, the 2022 San Angelo barrel racing Round 2 winner and Round 1 winner of the 2022 Denver Stock Show and Rodeo; PC This Dude’s Got a Gun, the two-time PRCA/AQHA Reserve Steer Roping Horse of the Year; and Fiesta Cantina, the 2023 National High School Rodeo Association barrel racing champion. These achievements highlight the stallion’s versatility as a roping and barrel racing sire.

Standing 15.2 hands, Curly is known for his strong build, great bone and good foot, traits he passes on to his foals.
